Singing Audition for "Anastasia" Play

About the project: Anastasia: The Musical is a vibrant and enchanting new production that follows the journey of a young woman discovering her true identity and the path she’s meant to take. This 60-minute adaptation of the Broadway hit is designed especially for young performers. Created by Tony Award winners Terrence McNally, Stephen Flaherty, and Lynn Ahrens, the same talented team behind Broadway favorites like *Ragtime* and *Once On This Island*, this captivating musical takes audiences from the fall of the Russian Empire to the excitement of 1920s Paris. It tells the story of Anya, a courageous young woman on a quest to uncover the secrets of her past. With the threat of a relentless Soviet officer on her trail, she teams up with a charming con artist and a lovable former nobleman. Together, they embark on a thrilling journey to find her home, her family, and her true destiny. Additional info: For your audition, you will need to prepare a 90-second audition packet, which includes: A 45-second monologue A 45-second musical theatre song You can also adjust the split of your audition time (e.g., 30 seconds for the monologue and 60 seconds for the song or vice versa), but you must fill the full 90 seconds. Rehearsal Details: Start Date: June 2, 2025 Time: Rehearsals will be Monday-Thursday. Time of those rehearsals will be TBD, but will happen somewhere between 3pm to 10pm. Rehearsals are mandatory when your character/role is called. We will take vacations into consideration when creating the rehearsal calendar, so if you know you will be out during June, please still audition. We will do our best to accommodate.
