Singing Audition for "Singin’ In The Rain" Show

Las Vegas, NV, United States
ID: 280198Exp: 3/3/2025
Description:

The company is holding auditions for "Singin’ In The Rain" show and looking for performers, please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: The “Greatest Movie Musical of All Time” is faithfully and lovingly adapted by Broadway legends, Betty Comden and Adolph Green, from their original award-winning screenplay in Singin’ in the Rain. Each unforgettable scene, song and dance is accounted for, including the show-stopping title number, complete with an onstage rainstorm! Hilarious situations, snappy dialogue and a hitparade score of Hollywood standards make Singin’ in the Rain the perfect entertainment for any fan of the golden age of movie musicals. Singin’ in the Rain has all the makings of a Tinseltown tabloid headline – the starlet, the leading man and a love affair that could change lives and make or break careers! In silent movies, Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont are a hot item but, behind the scenes, things aren’t always as they appear on the big screen! Meanwhile, Lina’s squeaky voice might be the end of her career in “talking pictures” without the help of a talented young actress to do the talking and singing for her. Additional info: Please bring headshot and resume at time of audition. Please prepare your best 32 bars of a song in the style of the show. Be sure to bring your sheet music in the appropriate key. An accompanist will be provided. CD’s, mp3’s or recorded tracks of any kind are not permitted. Please come prepared to move on the night you audition. All who are auditioning need to attend the dance call. The show will be performed at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park on the following dates: – September 11th, 12th, 13th – September 18th, 19th, 20th – September 25th, 26th, 27th Please apply if interested.
