About the project: When 52 year old Susan loses her job to AI, her apartment to developers and her dignity to society, she’s left juggling some seriously tough choices. Enter Tammy, a no-nonsense senior farmer with a soft spot for lost souls. But when reality hits hard, Susan bolts, beginning a whirlwind journey of self discovery and unexpected lessons in what truly matters. Rate: UBCP/ACTRA or Equivalent. UBCP ULB 40 under indie. (Lead) Female presenting, 52, upper management, has lived an adventurous life, traveled, never married, single, no kids, struggles with aging, desperate and lost. All in one day Susan's life collapses, she loses her job and her apartment. She has no retirement or savings to help her get through this difficult time, she tries her best to survive and get to Toronto to live with her only family, her nephew.
(Supporting) Female presenting, 70’s, smart, cool and calm, hard but kind, strong, a leader. Tammy has created a farm/community for seniors to live out a life full of purpose. She is correcting her karma from her past, giving kindness and second chances to those who need it, but those who don’t truly deserve it will see how cold she can be.
