FLUENT SPANISH SPEAKER Diego, a Mexican or Chicano single father, lives on the outskirts of New Orleans, shielding his son, Paquito, from the world. When work dries up, he turns to underground street fighting— not out of passion, but necessity. When Paquito becomes the ultimate casualty of Diego’s choices, Diego is forced to confront the truth: his fight to provide for his son may have destroyed him instead.
