Performers Needed for Theatre Audition "Bump"

About the project: SYNOPSIS: BUMP is a heartfelt, comedic exploration of pregnancy, invention, and human connection across generations. It interweaves stories of expectant mothers, inventive solutions, and online community support, revealing the humor and vulnerability of bringing life into the world. Bump is loosely based on the story of Jorge Odón, a car mechanic from Argentina, who saw a YouTube video about extracting a cork from inside an empty wine bottle and conceived of using the same technique to deliver a baby. Additional info: Sign-in on each audition day will be during the half hour prior to the listed start time. Auditions start promptly at the listed time. For efficiency, please download and complete the “Actor Audition Form” attached. Please bring it to the auditions along with your resume or list of experiences, and a recent headshot or photo. If you do not have a photo, one will be taken at sign-in. Audition forms will also be available in the audition room - please arrive a half-hour early if you do not have a form filled out in advance. Please provide a schedule of conflicts from February 15, 2025 – May 17, 2025. Please be aware that performance conflicts will preclude you being cast. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Callbacks will be by invitation only: Wednesday, February 12, 7:00 p.m. Rehearsals will begin mid-February. Performance Dates: April 25 - May 17, 2025. Performances are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 8pm; Sunday matinees at 2pm. Call times are usually 1 hour before curtain.
