About the project: Fresh Tracks is a music-based adventure game set in the mystical land of Norwyn. Players step into the role of Skaii, a silent protagonist who is tasked with traveling deep into the wintry Endlos Forest to save their home from despair. To complete this journey, Skaii must find the five Mythics, gods of storytelling and musicOnce the Mythics are gathered, Skaii must face The Refrayne, the true source of their homeland’s misery. Rate: Rates in accordance with UBCP ACTRA’s Low Budget Video Game Agreement. Session fee: $806 for two 4 hour calls. Overtime $107.4 per hour. Use fee: 165% per 500,000 units sold. Koda is the Mythic of Inspiration, a guiding light for all who dare to dream. As the first Mythic Skaii encounters, she becomes a steady presence and mentor, gently encouraging Skaii forward from the very start of their journey. Vocal Type: Bright, hopeful, and timeless, with a youthful energy that is both innocent and wise.
Mar is the Mythic of Horror, the embodiment of fear, mystery, and the dark unknown. She is the last Mythic Skaii encounters, initially appearing as an antagonist, her menacing presence casting a shadow over Skaii’s journey. She’s poised as the ultimate threat, her actions and cryptic words painting her as a malevolent force. Voice Type: Dark, haunting, intense and forceful. She should sound both intimidating and enigmatic, a tone that carries the weight of hidden truths.
Fars is the Mythic of Laughter, bringing joy, levity, and a dash of whimsy to even the darkest corners of Norwyn. Voice Type: Male. Bright, lively, with a mischievous warmth that invites laughter. Fars’s voice is quick, playful, and carries a sense of cleverness, able to switch from light-hearted jests to moments of genuine insight that hint at a wisdom beneath the humor. Note: This role requires musical theatre/singing ability.
Dram is the Mythic of Tragedy, embodying sorrow, sacrifice, and the beauty of bittersweet memories. Voice Type: Male. Somber, poetic, with a rich, melancholic resonance. Dram’s voice carries the weight of history and sorrow, as though every word is a glimpse into an ancient, haunting memory. There’s a sense of theatrical gravitas in his tone, imbuing his words with timeless, almost Shakespearean depth. Note: This role requires musical theatre/singing ability.
