Theater Casting Call for "Lost and Found" Play
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Theatre is seeking talented local actors for upcoming production "Lost and Found". More detals are below. About the play: The play "Lost and Found" tells the story of a group of immigrants who arrive in Canada and meet at a newcomer center. Each character has a unique background, journey, and set of experiences as they navigate the process of adapting to life in a new country. Each one faces a personal journey—some have an easier path, while others encounter significant challenges. As they progress through these experiences, the characters undergo various stages of development, adjusting to a new reality and learning to live and thrive in a foreign land. Along the way, they form friendships, confront their fears, and gradually reshape their identities in this new world. Rate: This is a paid position with a honorarium of $500. Additional information: Rehearsal Period: March - May, 2025. Location: Calgary, AB. What to Prepare: Please prepare a monologue of up to 2 minutes. During the audition, directors may also ask you to read a portion of the script. When appying, please submit your resume and head shot.
