About the project: A poor Woodcutter and his Wife find themselves without enough money to take care of their family, their children try to help anyway they can, including making brooms to sell in town and taking trips into the forest to gather food. When the children become lost on one such trip, they encounter a scheming Witch and her squire sidekicks who lure the children to the Witch's gingerbread house. Soon the children must outsmart the witch and solve the mystery of other vanishing children in time to make it home to their parents. A comical twist on a classic fairytale. Additional info: Rehearsals March 3rd-April 3rd Monday-Thursday evenings 6:30-9:30pm Performances April 5th-May 4th Saturdays & Sundays at 1:00pm What to bring: Resume: A theatrical resume outlining your stage experience (if you have one) Headshot: A clear, well-lit photo of yourself from the shoulders up (if you have one) Conflicts: A list of any schedule conflicts you may have for show or rehearsal dates. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
