Elena loses her her patience when her younger and pregnant sister Liliana shares the criticism she's been observing with their family behind her back.
She is the younger sister of Elena. She is pregnant and engaged. She may come across as judgmental and passive, but she’s a problem solver. She’s trying to make her baby shower as perfect as she can be from the balloons and cake to the family drama. Liliana asks Elena to be the godmother of her child to solve the tension of the family, but when Elena surprisingly says no, Elena begins to worry how the family will react.

He has served as the Head Priest for over 15 years at this parish, but has over-time lost his sense of order over the community and of himself. Bob feels a rivalry with Father Jerico (mid 30s) whose charisma, and community-building efforts have won over the parishioners in just 2 years. Lead.

Sixth Grade teacher Sally Pettle rehearses alone in her classroom after hours for the Teacher/Staff Talent show at her school. When Rusty the custodian enters the room to clean, she is caught unaware and hits her hand against a desk. As he bandages her hand, she opens up to him about why she’s dancing alone (She was dumped by a fellow teacher at the school, who was going to be her dance partner)
Eastern European. The school Custodian. Emigrated from Poland in his thirties, understands English and everything Sally says, though he is most comfortable responding in Polish. He has worked at the school for many years and has seen it all. He is loved by students and staff for his grandfatherly presence but he does not open up much.
It is the first in-person day back in the office since TAYLOR has received her promotion. Taylor arrives early to get a jump on her new responsibilities. JENNA enters the office early too, which is out of character for her. Jenna and Taylor are the only two black women in the office, Jenna had trained Taylor when she first started working at their high-end consulting firm. Jenna confronts Taylor on her promotion, insinuating that Taylor must have sabotaged Jenna.

He owns 2 cottages and has a land acknowledgments hung up in each of them. In high school, he dressed up as Bob Marley because he genuinely thought it was honoring a figure he admired. He has scrubbed the internet of his microaggressions and is loudly working to right his past wrongs. He believes that racism is bad and equal rights. PRINCIPAL.

Rookie and Inspector Singer are two police officers who are sent on an investigation to check out an anonymous tip where things go sideways fast. Rookie is a new addition to the police force who has been assigned to partner with Inspector Singer.
He is a senior police officer. A crooked cop with a kind-looking exterior. Singer has been forced to work with the rookie. A real blue-collar guy who has been on the force for a long time and has become a bit jaded, worn down, and probably should have been let go a long time ago but the blue shield does what it does and protects their own.
