Rate: All roles are paid a flat fee plus lunch will be provided. Additional info: Shooting Date: Saturday, February 22, 2025 Shooting Location: Charlotte, North Carolina Must be available for table reads/in person rehearsals. Must sign a non-disclosure agreement before sides can be sent. Video audition submissions must be sent via YouTube or Vimeo. One of Malik’s best friends since childhood. Not wanting Malik to lose his street credibility, he presents him with the opportunity to avenge his cousin Tyreek’s murder.
A fifty-year-old African centered school psychologist, who takes Malik in after his cousin is murdered. Dr. Koni is very wise and tries to lead Malik in the direction of his destiny through the wisdom of his ancestors. He leads with both tough love and patience, determining to help Malik decide what he wants out of this life.
