Singing Audition for "Newsies" the Musical

"Newsies" the musical needs cast. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the breakdown below. Rate: unpaid. Additional info: Prepare 32 bars (1-2 minutes) of a song that best shows off your vocal range and confidence as an actor. Bring jazz and tap shoes. Not all actors are required to tap. Be prepared to be at auditions 1-2 hours, and arrive by your audition slot time. Volunteer opportunity. No tuition required. Theatre Company provide costume pieces and rehearsal materials, except personal items such as tights and undergarments, etc. Actors are responsible for their own performance and dance shoes. Callbacks will be by invite only, January 4th. Rehearsals begin in Feburary, Mondays 7-9, focusing on large production numbers. Additionals days and actors will be added in April and May.
