About the project: Synopsis: Kenndra invites her friend Alice to Shabbat dinner to escape the chaos of her family, but it’s clear no one is on their best behavior. As the evening unfolds, the conversation spirals into a heated debate about finances and sibling dynamics, and it becomes more apparent that almost everyone is hiding behind some kind of facade. Amid the turmoil, Kenndra struggles to connect with Alice, as she hasn’t told her how much she really feels for her. The night reaches a dramatic climax when Kenndra finally finds her voice and confronts the truths about her relationships with everyone at the table that has been simmering beneath the surface. The daughter. Kenndra is a kind-hearted, socially awkward college student who often foals overlooked and lots other speak for her. Struggling to express her true feelings, she's hiding a secret: she's in love with her new best friend, Alice
The Friend Alice is an outspoken, friendly girl with a quirky sense of humor. She has a knack for bringing out the playfulness in those around her and is currently exploring her sexuality, a concept she subtly hints at over dinner to Kenndra.
The Mother. Gail is a hardworking, somewhat snobbish, and fiercely independent woman often to a fault. Despite her good intentions, she rarely asks for help. preferring to handle things her own way, by any means necessary- even if it involves lying and keeping secrets from her family.
