Principal of St. Nicholas School. A self-described “fierce moral guardian” with a strict approach to education. With a high regard for Catholic tradition, she is suspicious of Father Flynn’s modern approach.

The newest Sister at St. Nicholas. She has a passion for teaching that has faded during her time at the school. Trusting to a fault, with conflicting loyalties to Sister Aloysius and Father Flynn.

The mother of Donald, the first black child to attend St. Nicholas. While grateful for the opportunity the school provides her child, she is skeptical of Church politics and its figureheads.
