Tenor C#3 - G4) An earnest, serious, thoughtful young man. Analytical, "realist," dry-humored. Doesn't believe his father's stories after learning Edward is sick, he seeks to find the truth in his father's past. He is a successful professional, new husband (to Josephine), and expectant father. (Mix/Belt G3 - F5) A school teacher with hidden talents. At first, she is tough and distant, unwilling to fall for Jim's charms, but is ultimately won over by his kindness, humor, and their mutual love of music. A charming and funny girl, must sing and dance extremely well. "Holiday Inn"
(High Belt E3 - E5) A sexy showgirl and Jim's mismatched fiance. She isn't the smartest girl in town, but what she lacks in intelligence she makes up for with sheer determination and a love for the spotlight. An excellent comic actor with strong dancing skills. Must be be able to tap. "Holiday Inn"
