Description:

Looking to cast male and female talent for the "Charlotte's Web" show. Please see more details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: The Royal River Community Players is looking for actors of all ages for Charlotte’s Web the Musical. This exciting, musical version of Charlotte's Web brings a new dimension to E.B. White's beloved classic. With music and lyrics by Charles Strouse (Annie, 'Bye, 'Bye Birdie) and a book by Joseph Robinette (national award-winning children's playwright) your audiences will be thrilled by a musical score that includes "Who Says We Can't Be Friends," an enchanting duet between Wilbur and his new-found companion Charlotte; "Welcome to the Zuckerman Barn," featuring all the story's unforgettable animals in a hand-clapping, toe-tapping hoe-down; and "Summer," a haunting, nostalgic chorus number which evokes a time and place from everyone's childhood. This joyous musical offers your audiences a very special experience. Additional info: For your audition, please prepare one minute of a song from musical theatre. Bring sheet music in the correct key - an accompanist will be provided. Please no pre-recorded tracks. Callbacks will be on Friday, December 13th from 6:00-8:00. At callbacks actors will read sides and some actors may also learn short vocal selections from the show.
