NO DIALOGUE SHORT FILM SHOOT, 2 Saturdays, 1 Sunday shoot. About the project: A reformed cowboy, Kinan, returns to his hometown after failing to make it big in the big city and for his father's funeral. He searches for his old ranch buddy, Gabriel, whom he hasn’t heard from in years. Rate: Unpaid but credited Non-Union actors Additional info: Location / Area: Areas surrounding Watsonville, Hollister, and Salinas, CA Dates/Time: October 19-20, 26-27, time-varying (for the Flashback Scenes shot on Super 8 ) Commercial usage (if applicable): the goal is to do the festival circuit and find a distribution company to gain profits to pay the crew and cast equally, hopefully Additional notes: Locals of the Bay Area are prioritized for the leading roles; extras may be open to all.

Lead. You're a young and dumb kid who took this job from your father's friend, needing someone to replace his career on the ranch. You signed up and found friends with Gabriel but are clueless and intrigued with what to do since it's your first time. Gabriel has been doing this job for a year and knows the ropes. Required Skills: Drive
Lead. Someone confident yet also conflicted/confused about their sexuality is a very strong-willed and determined person willing to do anything for themselves. Growing up in a single-father household and being a rancher, he had to help pay for rent and food, which was a lot for him to cover currently. Required Skills: Able to Drive
(Kinan’s Old Friend) As a kid, you were curious about working at bars, and since you, Kinan, and Gabriel grew into curious people, you uncovered more about this world. Soon, you started liking the drag scene, which you would get glimpses of when going into San Francisco and San Jose with Gabe and Kinan. Required Skills: Drive (will be on set for ONE DAY, 1-2 hours)
