Rate: Matt/Zoe paid $200/10 hrs work, Grandmother paid $50/2 hrs work. Additional info: Pre-recorded video auditions. Shoot date November 9. Non-union. (Lead) - For most of the film, the performer will be playing Grandmother through Matt. Matt is physically possessed by the spirit of Grandmother, who speaks through his body and in his voice. Matt is the youngest of three sons. He grew up blue-collar, and has spent several weeks trying to make peace with the impending death of his mother. He is possessed by Grandmother. Grandmother is facing the end of her life.
(Lead) - On the cusp of adulthood, Zoe has spent several exhausting weeks caring for her Grandmother. Quiet and thoughtful, she isn't quite sure of her life's direction.
(Supporting) - Non-speaking role. Grandmother is facing the end of her life. She sees terrible things that may not be real and recalls memories that suggest an approaching calamity. Fearful and filled with regret, she believes her greatest failure is the world she will leave her children and grandchildren.
