Auditions for "She Kills Monsters" show. In need of actors. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the details below. About the project: In this high-octane dramatic comedy laden with homicidal fairies, nasty ogres, and 90s pop culture, acclaimed playwright Qui Nguyen offers a heart-pounding homage to the geek and warrior within us all. Rate: All actors will receive a $100 travel stipend as well as $45 per performance. Additional info: Some roles may be doubled. No AEA contracts available. WHAT TO PREPARE: Please prepare a 1- to 2-minute monologue in the style of the show. People will be seen in the order they arrive the day of auditions. You will not need to stay the entire hour you are signed up for. BRING WITH YOU: Photo, resume, and conflicts for October – January. CALLBACKS: Sunday, October 6, 2024 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. REHEARSALS: Will start October 26th with time off for the holidays including November 25th – 29th and December 23rd – January 3rd. PERFORMANCES: She Kills Monsters opens January 17, 2025, and plays Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 2:30 pm through February 23, 2025. If you are interested, please apply.
