ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ADMITTED. Spring production of "The Music Man" is currently in need of performers. More details are below. About the project: The Music Man follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band that he vows to organize – this, despite the fact that he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain's fall. Additional information: Callbacks: November 21st 6:00pm - 10:00pm. Location: Kitchener, ON. REHEARSALS: Mondays & Thursdays 6:30pm-9:30pm Sundays 2:00pm-6:00pm Beginning Monday, January 9th 2025 Performers cast in The Music Man must be available for all required rehearsals. Please prepare 1-2 Minutes of a musical theatre song of your choice. Please no songs from The Music Man. There will be a group movement portion to your audition, please dress comfortably.
