Franklin, TN, United States
ID: 268864Exp: 9/24/2024
Description:

Auditions for Christmas production "Plaid Tidings". Seeking cast. Please see the details below. About the project: The best of Forever Plaid, tied up with a big Christmas bow on top! At first, Francis, Jinx, Smudge and Sparky aren’t sure why they’ve returned to Earth for another posthumous performance, but a phone call from the heavenly Rosemary Clooney lets them know they’re needed to put a little harmony into a discordant world. This truly “heaven-sent” holiday treat will lift audiences’ spirits and fill them with nostalgia for a bygone era of classic music sung in perfect harmony. Additional info: Prepare one medium-tempo song, 1950’s/60’s style. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring sheet music in the appropriate key; no recorded accompaniment will be allowed. Resumes and headshots appreciated if available. Roles are available for four men. While there are no specific age requirements, the characters will need to be able to portray similar ages to each other. Performance dates: December 6-8, 11-15, 18-21. If you are interested, please apply.
