Actors Required for Stage Play "The Humans"
Auditions for production of "The Humans". In need of cast. Please see the details below. About the project: “The Humans” is an award-winning family dramedy that spins out in real time over Thanksgiving dinner. On the surface, the play is a standard contemporary family dramedy. On another level, the play is a realistic and moving examination of how we hurt the people we love most in the world, and how they forgive us even if we can’t quite forgive ourselves. Additional info: Sides will be provided at the audition. CALLBACKS: Thursday August 29 at 7:30 (by invitation only). PERFORMANCES: November 15 2024 thru December 7 2024 (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays with possible Wednesdays and Thursdays). Note about ethnicities: In prior productions, the Blakes are white of Irish descent, while Richard is non-white (e.g. African-American, Middle Eastern, South Asian, Asian). While it would require some careful interpretation, directors are interested in seeing actors of all backgrounds for all roles. If you are interested, please apply.
