About the project: In this hilarious Christmas classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids--probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won't believe the mayhem - and the fun - when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head-on! This delightful comedy is adapted from the best-selling Young Adult book, and has become a holiday staple for theater across the United States! Features plenty of great roles for children and adults, a few favorite Christmas Carols, and a lot of laughs! Rate: There is no compensation for any of the actors. Additional info: Audition Requirements: -Please bring a headshot or photo of yourself. -Please bring a theatrical resume if you have one. -There will be a cold reading from the script. -Review the attached rehearsal/performance calendar and bring conflicts to auditions. Time Commitment: Please make sure you can fully commit to the rehearsal period and performance schedule before auditioning. Rehearsals begin immediately upon casting (typically rehearsals will be held on Mon/Tues/Thurs 6:30-10 pm and occasionally on Saturdays and Sundays. Performance Dates: November 22 - December 8.
