Theater Casting Call for "My Narrator" Play
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Directors are currently in need of performers who will play roles in "My Narrator" production. More details are below. About the play: Miles and Lacy haven’t had too much luck navigating life so far. Career and relationship success have eluded them and so they engage the help of “narrators”, perceived only by them, to keep them focused and to guide them in making better choices. My Narrator follows Miles and Lacy and their respective narrators, Bob and Barb as they all figure out how to find the fulfillment and happiness they seek. Additional information: Run Dates: Saturday, October 26 7:30 pm (Dress Rehearsal). October 27-30, 2024 (additional stage rehearsals). November 1, or November 2, 2024. November 3, 2024. There will be one performance of the play. The day and time for the performance has not yet been determined. Location: Kanata. (Call Backs if required/Read Through). Rehearsals: Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7-10pm and Saturdays 1-5pm. When applying, please include “My Narrator” in your subject line.

A visual artist, creative and open-hearted she has been hurt many times in her romantic life and has not yet found her artistic voice. Meeting Miles is an opportunity to give it another try!
Lacy’s narrator, she has seen it all and then some. Cynical and opinionated, she has lots of career and relationship advice for Lacy that doesn’t seem to be getting through!
A truer example of a “failure to launch” could not be found! Miles has tried countless employment options and been on many first dates. He remains positive in the face of this however and is determined to find his passion.
Debonair, with an old Hollywood aesthetic, Bob is gentler in his approach to his assignment. He is a romantic and finds he can achieve more with the carrot than the stick!
