About the project: Obsessed Gymnast short film follows a dedicated rhythmic gymnast, as she strives for her Olympic dream amidst the pressures of perfectionism and personal betrayal. Her body image issues lead to anxiety and complicate her mental health. The film powerfully explores themes of friendship, ambition, and personal growth. Rate: Non-Union, unpaid, however directors provide all the meals and our sponsor, athletic clothing company, will be giving out gifts to the actors. Liliana's best friend and fellow gymnast. Confident, supportive, and always encouraging Liliana. She is naturally talented t and has a bright, cheerful personality. Her relationship with Liliana becomes strained due to a romantic involvement with Andrew.
Liliana's close friend and love interest. He is caring and affectionate, often seen comforting Liliana. His relationship with Stella causes tension and emotional conflict for Liliana.
Liliana's strict and ambitious coach. She pushes Liliana to her limits but also cares deeply for her daughter's well-being. Her own past struggles with body image come to light, providing ga deeper understanding of her character.
