About the project: A fiercely independent Selena, forced into adulthood early, argues with her partner over the responsibility for her younger brother Levi, triggered by his hospitalization. Rate: Union/Non union. Unpaid. Additional information: Location: Shooting in Toronto. Dates: September 14-15. When applying, please submit head shots, resume and demo reel.

Is an independent 19 year old girl who lives alone with her younger brother after her fathers death, and her mother leaving. She's quick witted and a great problem solver. She refuses to ask for help as she believes she can do everything on her own. She is smart, outspoken, and doesn't do things for herself as her only priority is Levi. Selena often struggles admitting that asking for help isn't a weakness and it's ok to want more out of life.
Selena's childhood best friend and upstairs neighbour. He is carefree and lives on the edge. Austin is an only child of a single, absent mother so he's rather comfortable being alone. He suffers from clinical depression which leads to him never being home (alone with his thoughts) In his free time, Austin often spends his time smoking weed or helping out Selena. He's very social and knows someone for almost anything, however doesn't like getting close or attatched to people.
