(Lead) Suffers from hyperactive sex drive from childhood trauma. Struggles with being a good person while persisting to be a great father. He struggles with parental separation anxiety, coping with heavy substance abuse. Actor must be able to portray a wide variety of emotions.
(Lead) Jay’s best friend. Bold, fearless, shark in a pond mentality. Non-conforming to societal norms. Outgoing, giving and thoughtful with 0 filter. Goes through the same situation as Jay through the complete opposite decisions. Ying to his Yang in all things philosophical but identical in all thing’s to each his personality.
(Lead) Coworker turned acquaintance, turned friend with benefits and then girlfriend. Humble, modestly shy girl who is also comfortable around strangers. Addictive, seemingly innocent personality. Hyper need for approval. Hyperactive drive. Willing to give charitably without question even if it involves deception.
(Supporting Role) Jay’s ex-girlfriend/child’s mother. 4 older brothers. Parents miserable but stayed together. Habitual cigarette smoker. Hardheaded with anger displacement but unmotivated towards goals. Utilizes having 100% of custody to her advantage for control of Jay’s actions.
