4 roles
A sweet tempered, fairly simple dog. A mutt, he isn’t well trained in anything but is very loyal and sees the good in things. Has a hard time seeing anything else. Takes things at face value. Tenor or high baritone to A.
The show’s lone human. He’s vulnerable and oddly charming, somewhat abrupt, self-involved, closed off to life. A baritone to F.
He’s an older and wiser dog. Having seen a lot and is a bit more cynical about things than the others. Probably a Doberman or Rottweiler mix. He’s big but doesn’t throw it around casually. A laid back Alpha. Baritone to G.
She’s a diminutive dog with an anger management problem. Talks too much, a bit overactive. Mostly Jack Russell or some other nervous, highly strung breed. Despite this she’s sensitive and wants to be loved. Mezzo, with a belt, to F.
