Musical Audition for Production of "Mary Poppins"
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Directors are currently in need of singers for musical "Mary Poppins". See the details below. Additional information: Show: November 27 – December 14, 2024. SING – prepare two contrasting max 90 second cuts (something up-tempo and a ballad) from the classic musical theatre repertoire or Great American Songbook. Directors may only ask to hear one depending on time and how well the choice allows them to get a feel for your voice, so plan to sing your best pick first. Have your backing tracks ready to play on your device, or you may sing acapella. Directors want to see personality, so character songs are recommended. Songs from the show are allowed. DANCE – you will do a group dance call assigned according to individual time slot – see Sign Up Genius. Please dress appropriately and bring jazz/character shoes and tap shoes if possible. If you're interested, please apply.
