Movie Roles in Upcoming Production "The Reception"

About the project: A short narrative drama that focuses on a brother Joel dealing with the aftermath of his sisters suicide. Rate: Unpaid. Non Union. Meals provided on set. Transportation covered for actors residing within the GTA. Additional information: Dates: Aug. 23 - 25th (overnight shooting across 3 nights). Location: Etobicoke (near Islington Station). Lead. Joel feels caught between responsibility and grief. He's introverted in big rooms, but has a stoic quality. He tries to hold things together, but is quick to confront and sometimes difficult to reason with. Subtle with showcasing his emotions, but is protective of those he loves.
John is an intent listener with a dry sense of humor. He's emotionally mature, and values compassion and honesty. As the widower of Natalie, he believes reconciliation is more important than resentment.
Alex is the big brother to Joel. Wants to appear strong, but can come across as disobedient. He holds people to their beliefs and is not afraid to speak his truths. He's expressive and tries to solve problems efficiently.
She believes confidence is key. Walks with meaning; very preppy but has an undertone of sincerity. Sympathetic to the grieving family, but understands the necessity of getting the verdict signed as Natalie's agent.
