About the project: "Fly By Night" is a darkly comedic rock-fable that follows a melancholy sandwich maker whose humdrum life is intersected by two entrancing sisters and a prophecy that could change everything. This new musical charts the paths of each of these lost souls as they cross and connect in unexpected ways during the 1965 blackout in New York City. It’s a tale about making your way and finding your light even in the darkest times. Rate: All roles are volunteer. Additional info: Prepare 16-32 bars of a musical theater song of your choice. Have a second piece ready if needed. Song must be memorized. An accompanist will be provided. Bring sheet music in your own key (music will not be transposed). A Bluetooth speaker will be available for recorded tracks. No a cappella music. She is enthusiastic and determined yet faces the challenges of balancing her professional ambitions with her personal life and relationships. Daphne's character is dynamic and passionate, adding a vibrant energy to the story.
Vocal Range: Mezzo-Soprano A kind-hearted and intuitive waitress with a deep sense of empathy. She serves as a grounding force for the other characters, particularly Harold. Miriam's strength lies in her quiet resolve and caring nature, making her a pivotal character in the narrative.
