Looking for five actors for short film thesis called "The Dinner Table", please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: This film is about a family of Brazilian/Latinos having a dinner time. It’s a comedic drama with a hint of black humor. Rate: Unpaid/MEALS AND CREDIT. Additional info: It’s just one location, one scene plus the whole scene you have to be seated! Shooting dates: 25/26th of August. When applying, please include your reel and headshot.

The mom: A beautiful but stern woman. She’s a bit of a control freaky, gets irritated easily. She likes things her way and just wants what’s good for everybody. Even after marriage and 2 kids, she still likes to keep her vanity.
The dad: A chill dude, all he wants is to enjoy his newspaper and soccer game alone in peace. He has a passive passive attitude, avoids confrontation. He’s obedient to Graça. He always sees the good side of things.
The grandpa: He’s Graça’s dad. He’s a bit senile, having hard a time with movements communicating. He likes to do things in a calmly manner. He’s methodic and organized, even after old. He is more of introvert, but also very dependent on his daughter.
The daughter: She’s Graça and Ailton’s daughter. She’s going through her emo phase. Short tempered just like her mother. She can get a bit bossy. She loves spending time on Tumblr. She likes early 2000’s rock band like My Chemical Romance and Panic at the Disco.
The son: Graça and Ailton’s son. He likes to play video game on his Nintendo, play soccer with his friends and watch TV with his dad. Or argue with his sister when he’s bored. He’s just like his dad, chill and easy girl, except of course with his sister
