About the project: "The Control Room" is a spy show told through a multimedia film/theater production. It tells the story of a highly regarded secret agent who sits at the helm of a control room. Striving to keep the missions and operations she oversees running smoothly, chaos unfolds as secrets and betrayals are unveiled. Utilizing traditional theater, film and projection The Control Room paints a kenspeckled kaleidoscope of conflicting perspectives. This show contemplates the temporarily of monologue and the dichotomy between film and theater performance when combined. A contemplative and thrilling adventure through a dangerous world of espionage The Control Room dazzles the senses and leaves the viewer wondering what comes next. Rate: Non union. 708 was once the head of the espionage organization but had retired a few years back. After growing board of normality she decided to return to the field much to the excitement of her fellow agents. She is intelligent, quick witted and well aware of the inner workings of her trade.
ASP is a known head of a major underground criminal organization known as the Orthography. He is a witty genius who views the world of espionage as a complex game. ASP has had a long going rivalry with 708, 808 and the rest of the agents working for them.
1003 is a new agent on her first field mission. Capable, competent and intelligent she is ready to dive straight into her first mission. Her lack of experience causes her to doubt herself but she hides her insecurity well.
953 has been working in the espionage field for many years. Brought on board during 708’s early years 953 has worked many cases alongside both 808 and 708. He is ready to take on a challenge and is prepared to follow orders.
Jakovic Bradac-Darilek is a Czech neuroscientist. He is considered one of the best in the field and has made many groundbreaking discoveries. Experience speaking in Czech is a bonus but not necessary. Please specify your experience level if any when submitting.
ADDITIONAL CHARACTER. Earl Regananuled Bartholumu the third is a man who seeks to collect the very best knowledge that humanity can provide. He is also a bit of a flirt.
ADDITIONAL CHARACTER. Anjelika is a diplomat who has little tolerance for nonsense. She has been playing a jousting match of words with Earl Regananuled Bartholumu the third for many years and she is happy to continue doing so. Accent: Russian or Eastern European (please specify the accent's country of origin with your submission).
ADDITIONAL CHARACTER. 753 is a double agent spying on 808 and the rest of the operation. She infiltrated the operation a year ago and has been accepted as a full fledged agent. She is precise and calculating and can disguise her intentions well.
ADDITIONAL CHARACTER. Person is an agent working for ASP and the Orthography. Adding in an elaborate ruse to distract the agency he pretends to intercept 753 on a mission.
ADDITIONAL CHARACTER. Agents Jonson, Simmon and Leapold have been sent on a mission to arrest 708 for criminal activities. They are well trained and carry themselves with an air of authority.
ADDITIONAL CHARACTER. Dr. Rupert Maclains and Sir Peter Helberts are presenters at a chemical warfare conference. Known for their skills and talents with chemical engineering and/or neuroscience they know their way around the weapons they teach about.
ADDITIONAL CHARACTER. Dr. Hosafa Stanly is one of the hosts for the chemical warfare conference. She introduces a couple of the scientists.
ADDITIONAL CHARACTER. Non Speaking roles. There are 6 non speaking roles which range from an eccentric billionaire, some enemy agents and people attending the chemical warfare conference.
