Acting Audition for 3D Animated Motion Capture Short Film
Looking for four actors to act in a 15 minute 3D animated thriller short film. This project will be fully animated using both body and facial motion capture. Logline: A young boy's life is in shambles, after seeing his mother die and he is left in a jungle alone. He befriends a shadowy creature, who helps him survive. He runs into a man who deceives and robs him. The boy's new friend convinces him to get revenge on the man. Auditions will be held in Vancouver, on April 6-7 at 1-4pm. Shoot dates will be on weekends in May. Training and setup with the motion capture gear will be unpaid. If interested, please apply.

10 year old boy, initially playful and happy. His mother's death causes despair and a loss of all hope. He experiences terror upon meeting his new guardian. He gets robbed which results in sadness, anger and finally numbness after getting revenge on the man who robs him.
A woman in her mid 30s with a strong voice. She is a loving guardian and teacher for her son Aethin. She dies trying to protect him from beasts in the jungle.
An ancient male entity with a gruff, creepy voice. A terrifying creature who is a mean-spirited guardian of the child. He breaks Aethin's self confidence while keeping him safe, causing the child to rely on him.
A 40 or 50 year-old man with a gruff voice. He is initially helpful to Aethin, although a bit unnerving. His personality flips, then he robs Aethin and shows disdain and anger towards him. He is filled with rage after the boy takes revenge.
