Casting call for a writer’s table-read of “The One” feature length film. Seeking actors. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the details below. About the project: GENRE: Christmas, Family, Faith-forward, Inspirational. WORKING LOGLINE: Hawk ages out of the Chicago Foster system and uses his one-way train ticket to travel to Enid, Oklahoma to see the largest Christmas tree in the United States. Along the way he crosses paths with runaway teenager, Alexis, and gets way more than he bargained for. Rate: Unpaid. Snacks and drinks provided. Additional info: Currently directors are only seeking trained actors for the following lead roles. DATE: Tuesday, March 26th, 2024 6:30PM (Reception and Intros) 7:00PM (Table Read) 8:45PM (Notes and Follow-up) USAGE: This table read will be recorded and used by the Writer and Producers only. This is NOT a CAST Table Read NOR a guarantee of a role in the film. Your participation will help with her final Script adjustments. Producers will provide a list of attendees to the Casting Director and guarantee the opportunity to audition in Pre-Production. WHY: Why submit to a un-paid table read?
