About the project: "Tells the story of Ryan Carson, a struggling actor/composer/lyricist, who would rather focus on furthering his theatrical career than uphold his responsibilities with his housemates, Reggie, a musician who’s struggling to keep his relationship with Kelsey whom is another housemate that finds it hard dating an artist and being in school and Richard who finds it hard to make ends meet." With original music lyrics and script by Khyel Keys Roberson. Additional info: Performance Dates are April 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 28 2024. Company is open to people aged 18 and over from Michigan City and the surrounding area. What to Expect When You Audition: Audition: People aged 18 or over (as of audition) may participate. No experience is necessary. Actors are cast based on their ability and suitability for the roles. Actors should come to auditions with completed audition registration forms. The Audition Form & Photo/Video Release are attached. Those auditioning should come prepared to have fun and with a prepared monologue if auditioning for a speaking role. They should wear attire appropriate to movement. Dance shoes, character shoes and sneakers are acceptable, but no open toed shoes, flip flops, or bare feet. Time commitment: Participating in a production is a big time commitment. Be sure you are prepared to commit to all rehearsals and mandatory dates before you audition.
