Actors needed for "Little Women" non union tour. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the breakdown below. About the project: Storyline: Based on Louisa May Alcott's 1868–69 semi-autobiographical two-volume novel, it focuses on the four March sisters— traditional Meg, wild, aspiring writer Jo, timid Beth and romantic Amy,— and their beloved Marmee, at home in Concord, Massachusetts, while their father is away serving as a Union Army chaplain during the Civil War. Intercut with the vignettes in which their lives unfold are several recreations of the melodramatic short stories Jo writes in her attic studio. Rate: $700 min/week (see roles), $600 per rehearsal week for all roles. Additional info: Audition Date(s): Self-Tape ASAP Directors will be doing a brief self-tape prior to in-person auditons. Please be aware they will be seeing people in NYC the week of September 26, 27, 28, & 29, please apply knowing that directors will want to see everyone in person that week specifically.
