About the project: After an irresponsible friend gets his bicycle stolen, a punked-out bike courier is forced to reevaluate his friendships as he tries to navigate the back alleys of Denver, in hopes of replacing it before work on Monday. Rate: Non-union, TBD; directors plan on paying actors however the price is not determined. Additional info: Shooting Schedule: Planning to shoot the last two weekends in October. Growing up in Denver, Kirk is a product of his environment. Absorbed by the burnt out punk scene, Kirk is on the wrong side of 25, and is ready for some stability in his life. Desperate for change, he has managed to acquire a higher paying job as a bicycle courier…. making his bicycle his most valuable possession.
Bobby is a poser in the punk community, but his trust fund has helped him gain acceptance. He can be your best friend if you follow his lead.. Burning out is not a problem for Bob due to his fathers wealth,, making Kirk’s situation pathetic in his eyes. He has no interest in helping Kirk, but he looks cooler with him as a friend.
Spider owns the neighborhood flop house. He’s well connected throughout the city. He can get you anything for a price. Bobby thinks Spider could find them a cheap bike.
Tim’s a local junkie, another product of the environment, which makes Kirk sympathize with him. Always looking for a quick come up, he probably has a bike for sale.
Stacy is a tough chick who doesn't take shit from anyone. Independent and hip, can make it on her own type personality.
