"Titanic the Musical" Looking for Singers
The company is holding auditions for their production of the ensemble version of "Titanic the Musical". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. About the project: Titanic is a musical with music and lyrics by Maury Yeston and a book by Peter Stone. It is based on the story of the RMS Titanic which sank on its maiden voyage on April 15, 1912. The musical opened on Broadway on April 23, 1997, in a production directed by Richard Jones; it won five Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Rate: No pay. Additional info: Non-Equity. Callbacks: will be on Thursday, June 29th starting at 6 pm. If called back there will be a short dance call. Come prepared to move. First possible rehearsal: July 9th. Offers will be made by phone. If you are not cast, you will receive an email no later than July 1st. Performances: Opening night: September 15th Runs Sept. 15th - Oct. 8th, Thursdays - Sundays. Material To Prepare: Please prepare a 32-bar song cut in the style of the show and 1 contemporary monologue. Dialects are not necessary for auditions, but you are welcome to do one. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring sheet music in your key. Please see the attachment.
