About the project: "Marry Me A Little": Two single strangers, left alone in their studio apartments on a Saturday night, pass their time with sweetly secret, unshared fantasies, never knowing that they're just a floor away from each other and the end of their lonely dreams. "The Sound Inside": When Bella Baird, an isolated creative writing professor at Yale, begins to mentor a brilliant but enigmatic student named Christopher, the two form an unexpectedly intense bond. As their lives and the stories they tell about themselves become intertwined in unpredictable ways, Bella makes a surprising request of Christopher that neither knows if he can fulfill. Rate: SPT $394 weekly minimum (Category 3). Additional info: Audition lunch: 1:00-2:00 pm. "Marry Me A Little": Rehearsal begin September 11, 2023. Performances will run Fridays & Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm from September 29 through October 15. "The Sound Inside": Rehearsals begin January 15, 2024. Performances will run Fridays & Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm from February 2, 2024 through February 17 (possible extension till February 18). All rehearsals and performances will be held in Pleasantville, NY. EPA Procedures are in effect for this audition. An Equity Monitor will be provided. Equity’s contracts prohibit discrimination.
