About the project: After stalling Dean’s proposal due to her past experience, Maya, a newly promoted manager in a hotel, is assigned at the last minute to a job to supervise a wedding, but only to find out the groom is her ex-fiancé, Senna, the man that abandoned her at the altar. Tension grows as painful memories creeps over her as she manage to keep her professionalism when she helps him finds the missing wedding rings. Conflicted yet committed, she successfully did her job and realizes how much she needed the closure she never wanted, and ready to face the future with Dean by letting go of the past. Rate: Non union. Volunteer project. Full day roles, lunch provided. Additional information: STUDENT PRODUCTION. SHOOT/PERFORMANCE DATE(S): Mid July, TBD. A attentive, diligent, newly promoted hotel manager, who has a bad memory of marriage because of being abandoned by her ex-fiancée, Senna, at the altar. She is someone who is good at masking her emotion by distracting herself into more workload. Due to her past, she becomes careful at experiencing the same loss again, which is the reason why she needs time to think about the proposal from her boyfriend.
The groom of the wedding, and the ex-fiancée of Maya. Being afraid of commitment was the reason why he left her at the altar, but now, he is more mature and will try anything to take on responsibilities for his future. Although seeing Maya again definitely makes him nervous, the way he tries to apologize and make it right with her and in the end proves that he has changed for the better.
A lovely, cheery, and high energy bride. She is as sweet as she comes, and the kind of person that takes value over people's work. Respectful and kind, she simply just wants the best for everyone, while also deserving a very lovely wedding. Relationship with other characters: Senna: Her fiancé.
A hard worker and reliable wedding organizer in town. Although can be easily stressed at times, she works hard to gain her reputation and will always give the best of the best for her clients. Relationship with other characters: Maya: The hotel manager in the place she has her wedding Senna & Jane: Her client of the weekend.
The former jock and the best man at Senna's wedding. Sarcastic and overall irresponsible, he is prone to break tensions throughout emotional moments without realizing what he did. Relationship with other characters: Senna: His best friend and the groom.
ADDITIONAL CHARACTER. Maya's boyfriend who proposed to her. Despite not getting a right-away answer from Maya, he is somewhat hopeful that something will eventually work out in the end, with her leading back to him.
ADDITIONAL CHARACTER. A nervous, fresh-face intern who has great respect for Maya, but also somewhat afraid of her.
