Ghosted is a dramedy about a young man named Nelly who believes he can see ghosts and has been having conversations with his late sister. When he loses his job he falls into a state of depression but he now has to pick up the pieces when the ghost of his sister sends his long time crush a text for a dinner date at his house even though he is not ready yet.

Nelly is a depressed young man who feels that he has failed in life after the loss of his job. He's had a crush on his friend Fei for a while but now that he is jobless he doesn't think he deserves her anymore. He usually keeps his feelings and emotions inside except when he is speaking to the spirit of his sister who passed away a long time ago. Nelly believes that he can see ghosts.
Fei is a petite Asian woman who cares deeply for Nelly. She comes to visit regularly and is bothered by his sudden solitude after losing his job. She relates to the fact that they are both introverted and is stunned to find another side to Nelly when they sit down for dinner.
