Jilisia is the mother of 4 children by 3 different fathers (none of whom help her), she lost her eldest son several months ago, who was stabbed at a night club. She's struggling to keep her wits about her, but she has a really strong spirit and leans heavily on her now-eldest child (Aryana) to help her parent/manage the house. And when Aryana mouths off disrespectfully, Jilisia's rage at the difficulties of her life spills into her home.
