About the play: When the biggest highlight in your life for the past 30 years has been your weekly bridge night out with the "girls," what do you do when one of your foursome inconveniently dies? If you're Connie, Leona and Millie, three southern ladies from Birmingham, you do the most daring thing you've ever done. You "borrow" the ashes from the funeral home for one last card game, and the wildest, most exciting night of your lives involves a police raid, a stripper and a whole new way of looking at all the fun you can have when you're truly living. Additional information: Rehearsals will be Tuesday & Thursdays 6:30 - 9:30 pm beginning October 10th thru to January 7th 2024. Sundays will be added as needed starting Dec 3rd 2023 from 11-2pm. 1st Table Read - Wednesday August 9th 2023 - 6:30 - 9:00 pm. 2nd Table Read - Tuesday October 3rd 2023 - 6:30 - 9:00 pm. Show dates include January 17-21st 2024 & January 24 - 28th 2024. Audition Preparation: Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Rachel’s love interest and male stripper. This role requires the actor to feel comfortable doing a modified strip tease routine. Please note that the “costume” described in the script will be a bit more modest for our stage.
