"Grumpy Old Men" The Musical Needs Singer/Actors
Seeking Non-Equity men and women for principal and ensemble roles in production of "Grumpy Old Men". ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. Please see the breakdown below. Rate: $625.00 – $745.00 per week. Additional info: The theatre will promote a fully vaccinated workplace. You must be fully vaccinated in order to audition. You will be required to be fully vaccinated prior to the day of auditions and provide proof of vaccination. Performers of all ethnicities, physical types, gender identities, and ages are encouraged to submit materials. Duration: March 27, 2023 - May 28, 2023. (John's neighbor; retired TV repairman) – Age 71; He has a knack for insults and wicked practical jokes. Actor should have impeccable comedic skills and sing well.
(college professor) – Age 52; A beautiful, free-spirited, playful newcomer to town. Must have excellent comedic skills and sing well.
(Max’s son; a lawyer) – Lonely in love and looking for a life change. Must be a strong actor and singer.
(John’s daughter) – A real estate agent whose marriage is falling apart. She's longing for a life change - and a warmer climate. Must be a strong actor and singer.
(Nefarious tax collector); Unrelenting and by the books. Must sing well.
(John’s oversexed father) – Age 90’s; Actor should have impeccable comedic skills and sing well.
