"Charlotte's Web" Play Casting Men & Women
Auditions for the classic fable "Charlotte's Web". Seeking cast. Please see the breakdown below. About the project: Charlotte’s Web is a story of relationships with the enchanting characters from the celebrated book: Wilbur, the irresistible young pig; Fern, a girl who understands what animals say to each other; Templeton, the gluttonous rat; the Zuckerman family; the Arables; and, most of all, the extraordinary spider, Charlotte, who proves to be “a true friend.” Determined to save Wilbur, Charlotte begins her campaign with the “miracle” of her web. This is a beautiful, knowing play about friendship that will provide an afternoon or evening of enchantment. Additional info: Readings will be from the script, provided at auditions. Please dress in comfortable clothing. You only need to attend one night of auditions. Please bring a resume and head shot if you have one (not necessary if you do not). Rehearsals will be 2-3 evenings per week, Sundays – Thursdays. Rehearsal schedule will be set after show is cast. Please be prepared to list potential conflicts for rehearsals and performances. The show runs Fridays at 8PM, Saturdays and Sundays at 2PM. Show dates: Weekends, March 10-26.
