One-act Play “Hits & Hits" Needs Performers
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Director is seeking to cast three actors in a new upcoming one-act play “Hits & Hits”. Please, see the details below. Rate: Actors will be compensated with a small honorarium for participating if cast. They will also receive a copy of archival photography and a professional recording of a performance for demo usage. Additional information: It will be staged in late October (dates TBD) with a mix of virtual and in-person rehearsals, leading up to a three-day public performance run. Lead. Musical background in singing, guitar, piano an asset, but not required. “A charming southerner whose heart is with his family, but whose soul is with his music. He finds himself caught between both after a devastating loss changes the course of his life.”
Supporting. “A hopeless romantic who hides her smarts and sensitivity behind a carefully constructed persona: that of a wisecracking, freewheeling hippie. She’s a fake-it-till-you-make-it badass who hasn’t quite realized just how much she’s made it.”
Supporting. “A mystical, charismatic rebel drawn to all things philosophical and dark. The kind of guy who could be a cult leader. He embraces the unpredictable… to a fault.”
