In Need of Performers for "An Inspector Calls" Play
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. The theater is currently looking for male and female talent for the play "An Inspector Calls". Please, see the details below. About the project: THE STORY: April 1912. The prosperous Birling family has gathered in the drawing room to celebrate their daughter Sheila’s engagement to Gerald Croft, heir to the most successful family business in the North of England. Their celebration is interrupted with the unexpected arrival of Inspector Goole. The Inspector is investigating the suicide of a young woman. As the Inspector’s questions unravel the mystery, secrets are revealed and each member of the family is linked to the tragedy. After the Inspector’s departure a few twists have everyone wondering what happened, if anything. Additional information: SHOW DATES: Evenings January 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 2023 at 8 p.m. Matinees are January 15, 22, 28, 2023 at 2p.m. Important: Will be providing a safe working environment – all participants in this production from creative staff, crews, actors and other volunteers must be fully vaccinated and provide proof. Masks will/may be required. Please prepare a short dramatic monologue – no more than 90 seconds. Something you know well. Be prepared to be re-directed. There will be cold readings from the play.
