About the project: "Actual Life" is a story centred around a couple; Vanessa and Marcus, who's lives together are full of promise, but suddenly come to a crashing halt one drunken night after a friends wedding. Secrets they have both been withholding begin to surface, and the relationship is challenged. The two characters in this film are navigating the tumultuous waters of what it is to be human. It’s beautiful, hard, profound, stupid-silly, heartbreaking, and full of extraordinary love — if we are brave enough to stay open to it. Rate: Union (TBC). Honorarium Pay (ULTRA Low-Budget). Growing up the eldest of three kids to a single mom in a tough city, he learned from an early age to bear the weight of the world on his shoulders, knowing never to show it. This pressure has made him into the strong resilient man he is today, but there are several moments in the film we see into the vulnerability that's underneath such a strong exterior.
