About the project: Synopsis: In early 1900s Harvard Observatory, Henrietta Leavitt and a group of female “computers” chart the stars but are denied recognition for their original ideas. As Henrietta measures the light and distance of stars, she also navigates family obligations and the possibility of love. This true story of Henrietta Leavitt explores the challenges and triumphs of women in science, showing how their dedication reshaped our understanding of the heavens and Earth.
