A woman or gender-diverse individual. Katrina is a devoted and artistic soul. She is expressive, caring, and wears her heart on her sleeve. She’s also rather practical and grounded. Not a head-in-the-clouds type, but someone who’s designed a life she loves – centring around her cat and her art – and takes great joy in living it with intention.
The insulation professional delivers insulation material to Katrina & Bianca’s home. This could be a cast member of any gender, likely 40-50 years old, who seems buttoned-down, but approachable and polite.
He’s the kind of guy who lives a pretty simple life, including a lot of time spent outdoors – despite all the curveballs it comes with. He should come across as neighbourly and good-natured. He might even lean a bit “boring” – but ultimately, he’s a resourceful problem-solver that’s used to handling the pivots life tosses his way.
Sue is Shannon’s Mom. She’s an upbeat and action-oriented person, but even those qualities are tested by her daughter’s endless supply of energy. That being said, she loves Shannon and isn’t looking to dim her sparkle. Sue channels her own gumption into other ways to create a sense of order and management in their home, choosing solutions over chaos.
